The Role:

The Reporting Specialist is a new role in our small but dynamic Operations team. We have a large suite of regular reporting that is crucial to the provision of our service, our customer invoicing and the service we provide to our customers. This is a fixed-term role with a competitive salary, reporting to our Operations Manager. This role is based London or Glasgow with the possibility of working from home.

This is a 12-month fixed term employed position, with the possibility of full-time employment.

Experience required:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Reporting role
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including Pivot tables, Complex formulae, VLOOKUP)
  • High level of proficiency with Google Sheets (including Pivot tables, Complex formulae)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to creatively resolve issues by drilling down to the root cause
  • Exemplary prioritisation and time management skills
  • Strong escalation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • A demonstrable ‘continual improvement mindset’ – a desire to continually improve systems and processes

 

Beneficial:

  • Ability to communicate in British Sign Language (BSL)
  • Knowledge of Video Relay Services (VRS) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Sharepoint)

Person specification:

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Production of large suite of regular reporting needed for internal staff and external clients, including:
    • Daily internal reporting of call volumes and performance against internal KPIs
    • Monthly and quarterly usage and performance reports for organisational customers
    • Usage and call logs for invoicing of organisational customers
    • Usage and call logs for invoicing of subscribers
    • Interpreter call-handling data for payroll and freelancer invoicing
    • Data to support investigation of issues
  • Clear and concise presentation of Internal reporting to stakeholders and management
  • Review reporting processes and suggest and implement improvements
  • Support the Operations Manager and the Operations team with core operational tasks as required
