The Role:

 We are seeking to recruit qualified BSL/English Interpreters to join our forward-thinking interpreting team on a part time basis. The post holder will undertake video interpreting duties and join an established, committed and dynamic staff team, which currently consists of a Director of Interpreting, six interpreter supervisors, and a growing team of video interpreters across the United Kingdom. 

We welcome applications from committed and motivated BSL/English Interpreters with experience of interpreting in a variety of domains and settings and with a wide range of Deaf people. 

You are expected to have sound knowledge of issues relating to the Deaf community and a clear understanding of the role of a BSL/English Interpreter. You must also have a willingness to continue professional development and an excellent command of written and spoken English. 

Experience required:


  • Registered with the NRCPD, SRLPDC or RBSLI as a Registered Sign Language Interpreter
  • Three years post qualification experience in a range of domains
  • Enhanced DBS check



  • Experience in video interpreting, though training will be provided
  • Technology comfortable
  • Flexibility in your approach to work
  • Other Sign Language skills an advantage
