For too long, deaf BSL users have been excluded from walking into public service provider's offices and using a service, unless an interpreter has been booked in advance. Getting an interpreter typically needs two weeks' notice and can be very costly. In many cases, deaf people just have to get by without any sign language access.

At SignVideo, we use the latest videophone technology to bring people together in vision.  We want to ensure that everyone has equal access to all communication and information and we offer all our customers four high quality services which come as standard:

  • Video Relay Service - Deaf people can make and receive telephone calls in BSL
  • Video Remote Interpreting - Access to a BSL interpreter for last minute or short meetings
  • English/BSL Translation - Translation from written English to BSL and vice versa
  • Voice Carry-Over - Deaf people who prefer to use their own voice can receive responses in BSL.
